"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"

"This was my first time booking a property on Vrbo and the whole family (2 teen boys) was just thrilled with our stay. It had all the things we love about camping but didn’t get a chance to do this summer — grilling, sitting around a fire, beautiful riverfront view, tons of room to run around and play frisbee, volleyball, etc. Super cozy and clean inside and stocked with everything we needed. "The airport shuttle was so convenient. This property is less than a mile from the airport. Don’t try to walk though. No sidewalk. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious. Make your own pancakes. Juice. All day coffee and hot cocoa. The room was quiet. Well laid out. There was even a vent fan in the bathroom. Something most hotels omit. I was able to get extra towels and a pillow on request. The pool was indoors. Spotless and warm. A nice treat on a chilly fall day. I travelled with two children and we had plenty of room with two queen beds. TV was huge and easy to use. Would highly recommended for an airport overnight hotel."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton Park/Saratoga Area

"Overall this is my “go to” hotel in Clifton Park. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was heavenly. I was disappointed though that I wasn’t able to either charge a tub of ice cream to my room or pay with Apple Pay. The telephone cable in my room was also loose and didn’t stay connected so I had to keep wiggling it and calling the front desk back. They said they’d fix it but I didn’t bother to check. The breakfast was tolerable but why no bacon?? Only sausage patties floating in grease! Some cold milk and half and half in pitchers would be nice to have at the coffee station as well. My primary complaint though was concerning the WiFi as well as the television. I have an apple phone but the tv would only synch to a Samsung phone so I was stuck either watching the over 100 channels on the tv (mostly local and livestream) or watching my streaming channels on my phone. That in itself was a problem because the WiFi kept dropping off."
