“Perfect location and room for our family at a fantastic price point. Big comfy beds and TV. Separate room for kids. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Chelsea in particular helped us get back into our room having been locked out after hours. Walls, carpets need a refresh and shower head needs replacing as it comes out in 2 or 3 thin high pressure jets. But as mentioned, not too much to complain about given the location and price.”

“Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend.”

“It wasn't very clean( table, bences, ) and not very accurate. It says kitchen but there is nowhere to cook (only microwave) so its not a kitchen. Also no sink ,we had to wash everything in the toilet”

“I wish I could’ve stayed an extra night! The CABN was so cute! I followed a previous travelers advice and brought my own bath mat as the water from the shower goes everywhere and no one likes cold feet! Unfortunately there was no salt available as stated, so it’s lucky we had brought our own otherwise it would be annoying to drive back to town. I had magical mornings waking up with the fire and reading a book looking out at the pines. Just wish you couldn’t see the other CABNS! To make it……

“Host Michelle has created a perfect place to escape the rat race. Set amongst a eucalyptus woodland, the natural views from every angle of her tiny house are picture perfect. The property has everything you would need. I was super impressed with the composting toilet. If you wish to make use of the fire pit, ensure you book outside of the fire danger season. ‘Long walks’ are on the unsealed roads that provide access to the property which lead to generous views of the lower lakes. “What a beautiful cottage this is! My daughter and I felt we were "at home" straight away. Everything inside is just perfect; so comfortable and well appointed, and totally spotless. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Mt Barker Rd is quite busy, which may be bothersome at times. The cottage itself is charming, and I would certainly recommend it. ”

“Maccy's cottage is a quaint little cottage, beautifully hand crafted and built, in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills. It is a completely unique property with open fire-place and kangaroos visiting us at the back door. Full of rustic charm, but with all the modern conveniences, and luxurious furnishings to make it comfortable and cosy. The owner was wonderful, and made sure we had a lovely stay. We were even provided Gluten Free bread to accommodate my husband. We can highly recommend Maccy's Cottage.”
