“Very central, clean, decent food, friendly staff”

“Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower. Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to. Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful ”

“Super choice of hotel as it is near the station, so it easy to get to & from. It is also located a bit away from the main shopping area, so quieter than if nearer the town. The staff too were very friendly & helpful.”

“Absolutely beautiful property, we had an amazing view of the river tweed and the gardens are lovely to walk around. You are in walkable distance to everything in Kelso which is great.”

“Breakfasts were amazing Staff very friendly Loved the look of the hotel inside Rooms and bathrooms were lovely If you are a senior avoid top floor as there is a lot of stairs, no lift”

“We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Nice place ”

“We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. ”
