“Good location right on the high street in Melrose, but the hotel is very dated and in need of redecoration. I seem to have been upgraded and had a much better room than I expected, very large with a bay window overlooking the street, so I was very pleased with my stay. Breakfast is good and freshly cooked to order. ”

Durante 4 días no vimos a nadie encargado del alojamiento, los cubos de basura de la cocina llenos por 3 días; las toallas sin cambiar, mucha suciedad en el suelo de la cocina y debajo de los sofás del salón, porque ayudamos a buscar un móvil de un cliente y había basura y mucho polvo debajo....

“Exceptional beautiful room, so spacious decorated to perfection. Wonderful large bathroom with extra large bath tube. Breakfast was the most delish we have had in the UK. Location in walking distance of all shops and the Kelso Abbey just across the road. Exceptional stay. ”

“We had a lovely few days staying here. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A couple of things to note that aren't made clear in the listing: there is a £20 charge per dog, and while it says breakfast is included, this only refers to a continental breakfast—not a full cooked breakfast as the images might suggest. That said, the continental breakfast was okay, offering a good selection of pastries, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, and toast.”

“We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. ”

“Great price and room for the weekend. Only 3 dedicated parking spaces out front and if they're taken you have to move your vehicle every 2 hours around the square because of parking restrictions. Stairs and passages are tidy but could do with an update. Overall happy with the establishment.”

“Nice friendly hosts, clean comfortable room, parking out front, I had the down stairs room which was large and comfortable however a little noisy with the reception right outside the door. ”

“Unfortunately not great cant park nr door to offlload luggage, kitchen very greasy dishes not washed properly, fridge dosnt get cold enough so will harbour bacteria, beds old and uncomfortable No live tv all on apps bu signal is not any good so it just buffered all the time and internet dropping in out so cant use even your tablet”
