"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"Loved our time at this property. We had 14 people and it worked out great. Location so close to the lake was fabulous and we could easily get to the ferry and train stations. Host David was fabulous and always available. Going to Bellagio and Varenna and Mennagio was great since there are no lines at Colico and it is quiet, peaceful and away from tourists at this property. I would recommend and would go back again to this property. Grass area was great for our grandkids to play on and hot tub...

"Das Ferienhaus „Villa Archi“ liegt in einem ruhigen Teil von Colico, ein Stück weit oberhalb des Sees. Das Haus ist sehr gross, in hervorragendem Zustand, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber ist charmant und hilfsbereit und die Villa teilt sich mit seinem Haus einen parkähnlichen Garten. "Clean, quite small room but adequate. Very small bathroom but everything worked perfectly well. Lovely view out of the window. Only 2 paper cups provided for coffee and none on the last day. Proper cups would be better. Slightly tricky to get in initially but did get in with the instructions given. All in all I would recommend"

"We had the best stay at Kurhaus Cademario. We stayed for 5 nights and began each of our mornings with the delicious included breakfast and some time at the spa. The spa is wonderful and kept so clean. The outdoor area by the spa with sun loungers gives you the most breathtaking view. The staff (waiters, cleaning staff, front desk, etc.) were all so kind. The front desk was so friendly and helpful- I’m not certain or her name - I think it might have been Rosanna - was so lovely and made us feel welcomed. Rooms were spacious and air conditioning was great. There’s a bus that goes directly to Lugano from the hotel which was super convenient!! We loved every moment of our stay and will 1000% recommend this hotel to our friends & family. Hopefully we’ll return soon!"
