“We had a wonderful stay at Churchill Guest House. This beautiful historic building is full of character, with thoughtful touches that make it feel warm, authentic and truly cared for. Our room was cosy, spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the gentle sound of the seagulls was wonderfully peaceful, and the refurbished bathroom, bathrobes and fan were much appreciated during the warm weather. Alex was a fantastic host, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help...

“Vaughan and Sharon are wonderful hosts. They made us feel like valued guests in their B&B (Guesthouse). Our room was the attic twin (top small windows in the picture), so lots of steps in this historic building, with a nice hot shower and views of downtown. The location is great too, right downhill from the Dover Castle and very convenient to shopping and downtown Dover. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a nice option for a vegetarian full English including veggie sausage.”

“Very friendly and helpful young man on reception… advised on parking and provided cups for a cup of tea when asked. He also showed us to our room and demonstrated how to use the air conditioning.”

“The narrow and steep stairs do not give a good impression but the rooms are clean and adequate. Helpful staff and a kitchen area make it a good base. Parking is on a one way street and limited between 09.30 & 16.30 but that wss not a problem for me. Convenience store in garage on opposite side of road.”

“We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is...

“We had a long weekend of 3 nights in a junior suite. Our room was of a good size but the sofa was beyond its sell by date. It had lost its sprung seating & was extremely low. Having spoken to Stephen the G Manager who assured us new units were on order. We had already asked our cleaner who sorted some large square cushions to raise the seats. We went to a tribute evening with meal as well as the Sunday Carvery that was excellent too. Our suite had a sea view as the hotel is on the promenade....

“Tuvimos que pasar una noche en Dover debido a la huelga en el Eurotúnel, y afortunadamente él buscador nos trajo a este sitio encantador. Ambiente cálido, hotel muy moderno, la habitación es pequeñita pero tiene todo lo necesario. Hay aparcamiento en la misma puerta, incluso con cargador para coches eléctricos, y la zona es muy bonita. Además, pudimos quedarnos a dormir con nuestra perrita. Absolutamente recomendable si no vas a estar más de una o dos noches.”

“Locatie is top, eigenaresse uiterst vriendelijk en de Sunrise kamer doet haar naam eer, werkelijk heerlijk. Punt van aandacht: badkamer en overall onderhoud kan beter, dit is low hanging fruit en veel zaken zoals kitnaden, voegen etc is easy te perfectioneren. Prijs kwaliteit kan daarom iets beter maar zoals gezegd, low hanging fruit en op een ochtend opgelost. Go for it en dan tot de volgende keer!”
