“The overall look and history of The Stanley Hotel is delightful; the location unbeatable. I can look past the current construction, the torn drapes, peeling paint, and empty conditioner dispenser, but the lack of drawers in the room and storage in the bathroom means you have to put your clothes and toiletry bag on the floor. The guide for the historical tour was perfect, most of the restaurant and bar staff attentive. The registration staff were bored and lackluster. But the worst was there is……

“We would like to have had an outdoor gathering place in the evening. The breakfast area was wonderful though. We enjoyed visiting with our family there. Very clean & nice. I very much appreciated the accessible amenities in our room! 5 Stars.
