This place is great! I enjoyed my stay there I would give it 5 starts but one night around 11 pm the fire alarm went on 3 times and people started to evacuate and each time we were told it was a false alarm. Although this was unintentional, it was disturbing experience specially at a time that late as it was not just one, but 3 times over a span of an hour.

Room was a bit beat up and not thoroughly cleaned (desk area, bathroom)

What a great stay at the Sofitel! Excellent location--in walking distance to both high end, luxury shopping and more local boutiques, eateries, cafes and restaurants. Safe. Easy to Uber when necessary. The hotel itself is simply lovely. The new lobby bar and sitting area is incredible and the service was terrific. Breakfast is a cut above expected hotel fare and truly enjoyable. I will stay here again during my next trip to Philadelphia.

A few friends and I stayed here this past weekend for a music festival. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. Our sink was cracked and backed up but was able to be snaked. The building is a little older and so cosmetically the rooms need a little paint in the bathroom. The elevator from the parking garage is also up stairs and may not be convenient to someone with mobility issues. Other than that, the area was walkable and many food places and attractions around.

Friday staff was welcoming. Saturday-Monday staff could have been more pleasant. Called the front desk several times from the room and cell phone and no one answered.
