Eastern Shore of Virginia Vacations from $436

The room was bigger than expected. Location was great. Only complaint is our keys stopped working on day 2, we didn’t notice till 11pm when we got back for the day and we waited 10 minutes for someone at the front desk. A kitchen garbage can would have been a nice addition.

Stayed here 3 nights with my husband. It’s a decent hotel! It does show its age though. The actual room was nice and clean. Check in wasnt smooth but it wasnt the staffs fault, Im guessing they were having some issues. I enjoyed the fitness area one of the nights. only complaints I have is that the Ice machine by our room was broken and the soda machine was all out of stock. Upside is It was only like a 2-5 min walk to the beach. So if youre more on a budget this one would work!

This hotel was a great place to stay. I was relatively clean, great ocean view from the balcony, bed was comfortable, the indoor pool and sauna were GREAT, and the location was perfect to access all of the beach area venues. My only concern was the check-in confusion…..I booked through expedia, after a long hot motorcycle ride I get there to check in. They have my reservation, however they showed at I OWED a significant amount still for the two nights in the unit! I showed them my expedia confirmation which clearly states that the two nights and all taxes and fees has been paid for. After a long call by the front desk to the manager, they told me that there was a mix up and i now only owe taxes and fees, I dispute this, finally the manager that they phoned, comes out of his office, and try’s to explain to me how expedia just bought some company named hotels booking or something close to that, and that they use the 2nd company and they have been having trouble receiving the money from Expedia to the 2nd company to them. In the END the staff and manager were TERRIFIC, they waved all charges and said they would deal with it, but it was a long drawn out confusing and frustrating situation. Beware of this when booking.

Staff was exceptional and went out of their way to be helpfull.

Fabulous vintage hotel right on the beach and close to everything. It seemed like there were a lot of different room options - I stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was a great stay! Very helpful and friendly staff! And it’s quiet! I would stay here again!
