“The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order.”

“The room was spacious and clean but the air con didn’t work and the room was 27 degrees all night. There was basically no staff on hand and the ones that were there were overworked and not available for the most part. The meal in the evening was almost inedible the £30 steak was all gristle and I ordered a cheesy garlic bread which I came as a normal one, when I mentioned it to the waiter they didn’t do anything. When I asked for the bill I had to wait 30 minutes and also ask another waiter,……

“We booked an accessible room as my husband has walking difficulties but is not wheelchair bound. We were very dismayed to find all the bedrooms were at the rear of the property from reception. Our allocated accessible room was nearly 200 yards from there and whilst we were moved to a regular bedroom immediately on entering the bedroom block, it was still the better part of a 150 yards walk back to the entrance. Also there were no disabled parking spaces close to the entrance, although……

“Room was lovely & cozy with great en-suite. Plenty of tea & coffee etc which was refilled every day. Snacks & a mini bar also. Staff were really friendly & helpful. Excellent breakfast included. Definitely recommend The Family Tree.”

“The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”

“When we checked in late on Wednesday evening, the gentleman who assisted us was excellent. He was very helpful, explained everything clearly, and made us feel welcome. He was truly brilliant. However, our experience at breakfast the following morning around 9:30am was very disappointing. There was very little breakfast available, only a few croissants left, and there was no coffee or tea. When we asked a member of staff about plates, we were told there were none available and that we should use……

“There is a very good service. Although my original room has no electricity, they let me have a suite room. Their cooked breakfast is very delicious, especially the smoked salmon.”

“Friendly staff, room fantastic, very clean comfortable, nice shower room excellent views, great meals staff very good nothing to much, fantastic breakfast great selection of products. Fantastic hot tubs right temperature very relaxing. Fantastic value for money. I will ne definitely back.”
