The room was the perfect size for us, with a modern bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a comfy bed. The breakfast options worked well for us, with Alan cooking breakfast items as requested. Several buses stop almost at the front door of the property; it was straightforward to get almost anywhere in the city. There were several restaurants and grocery stores a 10-15 walk from the B&B (also accessible by bus). The place was nice, breakfast was lovely, and the location was only a 20-25 min walk from the city center. Alan was welcoming and helped get my suitcase up the stairs. All in all a very pleasant stay. I would recommend. The location is amazing, with just a quick bus ride taking you all over Edinburgh. The hosts' hospitality and local knowledge was second to none and they saved us a lot of searching and time when it came to our day trips. Breakfast was wonderful and offered a lot of high-quality options, all freshly prepared by Alan each day. The room was comfy and clean, and the house itself had a lot of Victorian character and charm.
