Wwe didnt end up doing any excurions, but she was able and ready to help us with booking if we desired as well. “We really enjoyed the quiet village and the house's amazing views of the volcano and lake! We saw beautiful birds everywhere. Loved the swings and the 3rd floor lookout! So peaceful. The only drawbacks were, one night the neighborhood dogs barked for an hour and we had a little trouble finding the house but Erika went out of her way to talk us through it and had her daughter meet us! Also, the first and second floor are only connected by outdoor steps. It was great for us because our teens……

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. “The cabin style home was amazing, I stayed with my 3 kids for almost a week. The home was very equipped in the bathroom and kitchen. I cooked 1-2 times a day and had al the utensils and tools needed for the kitchen. The size of the area was perfect. The views were amazing. It felt like home for us. “A month living as Ticos in the Casa Amarilla - great people, beautiful location and reasonable price. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a long term rental in a quiet small town near La Fortuna. There are a multitude of entertainment activities in the area. “The owner was very responsive and helpful. He gave us advice on restaurants things to do in the area and how to get places. Everything he recommended was the best and spot on.
