Super convenient location, large property with lots of amenities

Excellent place to stay . Don’t listen to the bad reviews it is obvious they thought they would be staying at a 5 star hotel . This is glamping and we loved it . We stayed at one of the yurts(tents) and it was awesome , we had a ceiling and floor fan , refrigerator and electricity, queen size bed , it was cozy and fun . Check in and out process was super easy, staff at Cedar Lodge were very friendly. The Wi-Fi is actually superb which was a great surprise (it’s also free). Location is right on main road but secluded enough and a short 20 min from park entrance. Inside is very clean and well kept with plenty of cooking supplies, including a stove top and toaster among other things. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was fantastic! The apartment is cozy, clean and comfortable. The deck facing the sunset was a great place to relax for the evening. It's only 8 minutes from Mariposa which is great, but it's quiet and secluded enough to disconnect if that what you're after. We will definitely stay again.

Coming from the East Bay Area, I found the level of service, friendliness, and willingness to help extraordinarily HIGH! Much higher that you can hope for! Awesome CS level! Returned after 9pm from dinner in Mariposa, we were unable to find parking. Ran into a staff member who recognized our plight. She immediately volunteered her space close to the Clubhouse! Stayed here after our camping trip. We used the laundry room, it’s $3 to wash and $3 to dry. I bought laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets in Mariposa, $5 for about 6 loads. The laundry room was clean. The property was quiet. My room was clean and comfortable. I am definitely going to come back for our post camping trips. Mariposa is a cute town about 15 mins away. .

My family of 3 stayed in 1 of the cottages for a couple nights in Feb. Fantastic location for easy access to the southern entrance of Yosemite. Property itself is very family friendly because of various activities. Our cottage was clean and well stocked. Resort grounds are well maintained. I would stay here again and highly recommend this resort.

Weather was great 1st day. We were evacuated 2nd day due to anticipated storm. Staff was very nice. No wagons to help load/unload car. Heated tent was nice and warm. A down blanket, sheets, pillows and towels were provided.

This is an institution in yosemite . You must stay here at least once in your lifetime. Staff is awesome, rooms are big lovely and historic. Super clean and comfortable. You should keep in mind that this is a national park gem and not a big city luxury hotel. They still have keys for the rooms and this is part of the charm of this one of a kind hotel. Super beautiful location , so glad we came!
