"What a fantastic property. Rebecca was extremely friendly, helpful, altogether amazing. Beautiful room and view. Comfy bed, large bathroom, Nespresso machine, bottled water and jelly beans! The breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs from the chickens, really good selection of cereals, yoghurt etc and a large cafetière of coffee. What more could you ask for. What a gem! "

"I booked the cherry barn for my partners birthday as I wanted him to have a quiet relaxing weekend away and it was perfect. We were greeted with a friendly welcome from Gary and Molly the dog. The accommodation was beautiful, the pictures really do not do it justice. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast, especially the sausage served when requested each morning. "Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. Can highly recommend."

"Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was pretty, overlooking a lovely garden. Only one problem, there was a leak in the en suite. Staff brilliant as was the food. Wd definitely come again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lion . We had our own car parking space . The breakfast was outstanding . Very hot plenty of it and delicious. The only downside was they didn’t do meals in the evening. But they are ready to recommend places that do great meals ie The Old Castle. We would definitely stay there again."

"Stayed for one night whilst on business round the corner. Friendly staff, nice food and a clean if small room. Room 3 has no window to the outside world though - in case that sort of thing bothers you. "

"Ye Olde Robin Hood, is indeed old, so quite quirky & full of charm. Service & breakfast were both excellent. There are steep outside steps to the bedrooms. Our bedroom was immaculate, plenty of drawer storage & a hanging rail. A proper chair would have been a good addition. The bed very comfy. In tge bathroom, tge sink & toilet were very clean. The shower & close-by had some black mold. The room edges were not as clean as the centres."

"The hotel is in convenient location for access to main routes to the attractions nearby. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Parking is easy. There is a large garden the owners take great pride in."

"An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. The communal rubbish bins, located in the car park directly below the flats were overflowing with bagged and unbagged household rubbish dumped in many areas. It was likely that vermin would be attracted...
