“Our stay was okay overall. The room was clean enough and served its purpose for a place to sleep while exploring Door County. It wasn’t anything special, and the accommodations felt pretty basic. The room was acceptable, but it just wasn’t my favorite place I’ve stayed. If you’re looking for a simple place to spend the night, it does the job, but I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

“Over all the stay was good but what threw me was the price. When I booked it paid $215 and it appeared to be the WHOLE COST. About a $100 dollars a night is usually what I look for. Knew area and that there are other much fancier places with higher prices. There were 2 places that came up i was interested in, and both appeared to be in range. Book Hotel Ephraim and was shocked when checking in they said that was a deposit and owed another $215 dollars. Now looking at it as being over $200 a……
“Wonderful location and beautiful grounds that are well maintained. The private beach access was a definite plus. There was plenty parking and many shops and restaurants within walking distance or short car ride. We would stay there again.”

“My room was right next to the highway which impacted my sleep. This room was very very small, but I was allowed to bring my Labrador along. You cannot leave the dog in the room, so that is a bit disruptive if you want to go out for dinner. The locks on the doors are as old as the facility and tricky to learn how to use. I locked myself out once. The staff was great and came to let me in, but scolded me for leaving the dog in the room alone when I only went to my vehicle to get something. ……
