The staff was very friendly, and the complimentary chocolates were yummy. We had some issues, but were given a partial refund for those issues at the end, so the resort made it right. That said, it did hamper our experience: - The exterior light outside our room atop the stairs didn't work, so at night it was quite dark and a bit dangerous. - TV in the main living area didn't work - no power. The much smaller room TV did work though. - The fireplace didn't work. They said the pilot light likely blew out. - Neither my wife nor I had no cell reception - total dead zone - which is no fault of the resort, but the in-room telephone didn't work either. We couldn't make any outbound calls, not even to the front desk. This became a bigger issue when we had to contact a doctor for our daughter who had a medical emergency while traveling out of state. Each of these wasn't a big deal, but all of them together was. Again, the resort did provide a refund at the end since that's when we brought up the issues, but I think these things should have been checked and fixed prior to us staying there."
