"I woke up at 4:00 a.m. to use the washroom. When I pulled the blanket back to get back in bed and go to sleep again, I found a bedbug crawling away. I squished it and about a dime size spot of MY blood was left on the sheet. I was so disgusted and freaked out at the idea of bringing bedbugs into my own home I couldn’t sleep anymore. It was a horrible night! My bag and clothes are still in my garage. When I told the front desk attendant about the problem, she apologized. She said: when you come back,…I assured her I would never be back."

"The house was bigger in person, super clean and very safe feeling. The location was close to town and the church. I met several neighbors while walking my dogs and they were all very friendly. Pilar herself was amazing with communication and it was clear how sincerely she cares. I can’t recommend this place high enough. Perfect for families or women traveling alone."

"Very clean, comfortable apartment for our week long stay in Wamego. The kitchen appliances were clean and in excellent condition. Tableware, pots, pans and all the cooking equipment we needed was available and in excellent condition. Bed and pillows excellent, allowing for great sleep and restful nights. Off street parking was available for two vehicles. The only down side was the number of stairs required to reach the apartment, but the accommodations are worth the climb, even for those of us in our seventies. Great host! Hope to stay again when we visit Wamego."
