KY's Hair Designs welcomes you to her unique live work space at the Myrtle town Dome in Eureka. Enjoy the private bedroom and bathroom with a separate entry, the lush garden with hummingbirds, and access to the kitchen and sauna! The 350 sq. ft. cottage is close to Eureka's old town and is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It has easy access to HWY 101 .

The space
Within a Dome next the beauty shop, I am located in a small city off highway 101. also feel free to pick flowers and vegetables from my back yard organic garden. There is also a stream located my back yard and outdoor kitchen area with bright skylight and BBQ also smoker. There is available parking on my property.

The Room
The room sleeps 2 adults.. There is a brand new queen size bed and a refrigerator. There is a private bathroom in the room and private entry with a number pad.

Communal Space
The kitchen area is a shared space that is fully equipped. There is also a small sauna that can fit one or two people.

Guest access
They'll have access to KY's Cottage, located adjacent to KY's Hair Designs.

Interaction with guests
I enjoy meeting my guests and will give you space. There is also plenty of social activity at my beauty salon next door.

I am close restaurants and downtown.

We offer a 7% discount for weekly rentals and 18% for monthly.

Great stay with Ms Ky
We were only in Eureka for one night, and Ms Ky met us upon arrival to make sure we could operate the hot tub and sauna. She also had just baked cookies to share! Very friendly home owner! The space is small but for 2 people was perfect and cozy. My daughter loved the sauna! She’s got a beautiful garden in the back yard with fresh fruit and vegetables along with decorative plants and flowers. The only downfall (for me) was that it appears the heat/AC is controlled from her side and we only had a vent bringing in heat and I tend to get hot easily. Beyond that, when we are back in town, we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a quick visit. The owner was very friendly and accomodating, as well as readily available. We were mainly using it as our base for a whirlwind wedding weekend, and gotta say that the sauna reaaally came in handy!!

The host was very nice but the room was very crowded the bathroom was hard to manage in had to step up and down the sauna took a very long time to heat up the hot tub was 103° but the water smelled terrible so I didn't get in the bed was hard as a rock we had our horrible night. And in the morning the host kept knocking on our door quite loudly and calling to us and then open the door and came in to see if we wanted her to cook us breakfast and we had said no I'm glad I wasn't just out of the shower if you know what I mean. The tv only had 6 channels nothing worth watching. The back yard was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay! Access was easy as parking is right outside of the door, and there is an easy to use keypad. The room had a table with 2 chairs, a small sofa, a comfortable queen size bed, its own refrigerator, and a sauna. The bathroom had a walk in shower. Guests have use of the kitchen. The dwelling is quirky (which we found fun) - make sure to check out the adjoining beauty salon that is in the dome! If you enjoy gardens, the host will give you a tour of her! It’s spectacular. If you are a gardener, it’s worth staying just to spend time in the garden. It is both a flower and vegetable garden. And, also has fruit trees. For breakfast, we helped the host pick red raspberries and blueberries and had a bowl with coffee and other goodies. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Ky is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. She is quite knowledgeable about the local attractions. Her place is small, just enough for two people, but very cozy. We had to share her kitchen, but it was always available to us. We did enjoy our stay at her place

Delightful Experience
Finding a VRBO rental in Eureka was limited and I wasn't really sure what to expect from the pictures. However, it turned out to be one of our most delightful experiences as we traveled norther California. The hostess, Ky was infectious and very hospitable. It is advertised as a ""shred kitchen" which I thought meant shared utility, but it turned out that Ky shared her kitchen She treated it more of a Bed and Breakfast sitting out fruits and conventional breakfast. items with coffee. She is very friendly and present hostess. I really enjoyed meeting her.

Cozy Oasis with Lots of Amenities
Everything couldn’t have been more perfect at Kys. I stayed 2 nights and was delighted when I saw the room . The bed was so comfortable and had wonderful plush sheets and pillows .. I was also happy to see a nice sized refrigerator in the room for the all the food items I bought . I was able to use the adjacent kitchen where everything was clean and convenient. The outside back had a beautiful garden and jacuzzi . I spent time in the jacuzzi evenings sipping warm ginger tea which was always available. The room included a sauna which helped me relax and warm up before climbing into the cozy bed. I had so much hospitality throughout my stay. Everything was quiet and the location perfect. I felt very pampered the whole time there.. I came for a healing and reunification and that was accomplished .. I will look forward to planning my next visit.
