English Inn of Charlottesville

"We picked this hotel because of the English theme. We enjoyed the cookies and tea in the afternoon when we arrived. In the morning we ate the complimentary breakfast. It was pretty standard for a free hotel buffet: english sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, muffins, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, juice and fruit and it was good quality. The hotel is walking distance to the John Paul Jones Concert Venue which was also why we picked it. We would stay here again and we recommend this hotel."

"The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I really appreciated having a kitchenette for meals when we weren’t eating out. The building is quiet, as it’s set back from the highway. I particularly liked its design—it doesn’t look like a typical boxy hotel. The breakfast was totally fine."

"Highly recommend this place. Clean. Comfortable. Well equipped. 24/7 store with complimentary coffee and many other items for sale. Trail on property. Several fire pits for roasting marshmallows. Well positioned very close to both the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive."

"Cute hotel and great location for the university. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Free parking was hard to come by, but the garage option was also very convenient for a price."
