"The one reason to stay here is it is walkable to the Catalina island boat landing if you are planning a day trip there (which is why I rated it a 2 rather than a 1) The hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. For example, the elevator inspection is expired, the breakfast is mostly stale and the walls in the shower were coming apart. "

"This is the second time we stay here and it is absolutely our last! First time wasn’t the best experience either but the location is great. We stayed here a second time hoping it would be better and it happened to be worse! They did renovations to the hotel which was nice. But sometime through the night the water stops working! We were not able to shower, wash hands or the basic need of using the bathroom!!!! We have children, we can’t ask them to hold it in! Do not waste your money here, not even for the convenience of having things near you! Book somewhere else! "

"If i could give minus 5 i would. First off google doesnt even know where totake people for the endtry so we were lost for 2 hours and ended up in a trailor park trying to take us on a dirt road that was blocked. They had take people to this horrible stay. Had bugs in the tub and dirt. Door lock was broken. And the room in pics wasnt the room they gave me. And they wouldnt switch my room to the one they paid for. Rude receptionist. Sliding door broke n and wouldnt even open along with broken lock. Ice was all the way up a hill. Horrible stay and they wouldnt even refund ys. They literally denied all contact. I have called 3 times leaving my info with front desk and they always say the manager is unavailable. Either because its a weekend or because they are on vacation. Not a way to run a business!so we "
