This is the newest of the Rui properties in Jamaica and they have really thought about the layout & facilities. The rooms are bright, spacious and now include a separate toilet. The view from the balcony are sea view which is so beautiful. The staff are helpful & polite. The room service needs working on, they haven’t got this right yet. I had to complain & they did try to resolve it but I’m sure that will improve. All in all, I had a great birthday staycation here.

Hilton rose hall Mediocre on budget but it’s all inclusive. First the checking process took about 45mins to wait . First of all at receptions they were only 3 people working but had many computer available. The bell man was quite humorous in taking out luggage to our room. In my room I was shock to see I didn’t have a robe so I had to request one which was taking care of right away . Manger said robe are only given if it’s requested. The grounds seem well kept i men manicure lawns. Some staff was impatient and unfriendly especially the ladies at the jerk shed they seem irritated by our questions. The pool had no dress code people worn jeans regular clothing to swim. They’re good was terrible no care no effort in preparation. The specialty restaurant is was ok service was a little better. Their nightly entertainment needs more work especially the Michael Jackson show. The reggae band did ok as well. The drinks was far from top shelf they did have mint to make mojitos. The cafe is the only thing this place have going. I am not coming back ever if I can leave after one night and get my refund I would. Thank goodness i only book for 2 nights. Also the outside bathroom had a water leaking all over the floor . The rooms needs more update but that didn’t bother me. The fridge had no liquor.I previously was staying at the Riu aquarelle for 4days if I knew better I would have just stay there and be done.

Food was horrible!! I’ve stayed at other Riu and food was amazing. They need a new chef. We put the door tag on our room for housekeeping to clean the room we came back mid afternoon no one cleaned we called front desk and they said they would send someone. We went back to our room that evening and the door tag was replaced with a do not disturb and room was not cleaned. Around 9pm someone came and asked if we still wanted them to clean the room we asked for them to come back in the morning. They need to do better.

The resort is beautiful. I love that it is doing as much as possible to be sustainable. The staff was great! Always smiling and willing to go above and beyond. Room Service is hit or miss. One evening, it took 20 mins to receive our food, which is pretty good. Another evening, it took over 1.5 hrs after we called a second time, and the order was poorly thrown together. I'm guessing we fell in the cracks. The entertainment was great as well. Something different every night and even a little show for the kids, usually 7:30pm. The resort overall was great. I'm sure once all the kinks get worked out, it would be a 5 star :)
