“Really liked the breakfast buffet each morning. We were assigned the room labeled "handicap room" on the 4th floor. It was a lovely room and fine view. We had no idea how to lower or raise the blinds and had to call for help to do so. Help was very responsive, thank you. If I were handicapped and confined to a wheel chair, I don't think I could have gotten up on the bed! They are very high! The sliding door to the bathroom is a neat idea but the door is so heavy it is very difficult to……

“We stayed for 2 nights in the fall for a family event at Stratford Harbor. The house was pristine and cozy. Loved the fenced backyard for the pets and the walk ability of the town. The host and back up host were VERY responsive.”

“ Rey clean lovely condo with a wonderful view of the river. Sunrise was gorgeous. Bed was super comfortable. Colonial beach is my new favorite little vacation town. Very friendly people. Our host was so responsive and welcoming. Much appreciate his quick response to questions. There were a lot of steps to climb to get to the condo but that’s probably a good thing for a Bach front property. We would definitely love to stay here again. ”

“Heater did not work. It kept blowing cold air. They wouldn’t call maintenance to look at it. I was cold all night. Toilet had hardwater stains that looked unsightly and unhygienic ”

“We stayed for seven days. It was uncomfortable to only have two forks two spoons. We had to wash every time we ate. It felt like the space had been sitting a while. There were lots of spiderwebs. The fans had a coat of dust on them. That was sickening. This is my first negative review ever! I appreciated the beautiful Patuxent river and the quick response and communication with the owner. We feel like we just didn’t get the most bang for our buck. It was a splurge for us in an expensive room and……
