Well I say uninhabited, at least not people, but birds rule the place. We went to see Puffins and we saw hundreds and very close up. This trip exceeded my expectations at least trifold. We booked with Turus Mara, they operate from the Isle of Mull. Since we were in Oban they directed us to a tour service in the Oban ferry terminal who organised it all for us for a small extra fee. This made it extremely easy to book. Our ticket included the ferry from Oban to Mull, which was met by a clearly marked shuttle van which took us across the island to the tour boat. We were all dropped off on Lunga which requires you to scramble across large slippery rocks (if low tide they are wet and slippery) climb a moderately well marked steep hill and then be prepared to be amazed. Hundreds of Puffins line the top of a cliff right there. WOW! The tour also takes you to Staffa Island and Fingals Cave.
