Housel Bay Hotel
"The property was family owned and it showed in the kindness and the welcoming way they had with guests. Far more personal than the big chain hotels. Stunning views Good quality food fantastic place."
Harbour Inn
"Bit noisy as we had room facing harbour (which was lovely) But would return"
Gallen-treath Guest House
"Very helpful staff overall enjoyed my stay just a bit short"
Three Tuns
"Stayed in the glamping tent and it was clean and tidy. The bed was really comfy and shower block was nice. Also had dinner and breakfast here and it was delicious"
Fisherman’s cottage 100 yards from the sea with log burner and own parking
"A stunning 2 bed house 2 minutes from the beach. The property included a little garden and a parking space across the road. The decorative condition was immaculate and it had all the conscience items you need. Thoughtfully, the owner even coffee capsules, basic items for cooking ( salt pepper, olive oil etc) as a much welcome bottle of Merlot to celebrate our arrival. And Lenny ( our doggie) was left a handful of really lovely biscuits - or so he tells us.The beds were super comfortable and everything was clean. It's amazing how clean the place was considering it's dog friendly. Lots of work, I'm sure but we appreciated it.Porthallow is a lovely little village at the end of a typical twisty, hilly, narrow Cornwall road. A pub, a bistro cafe and great people. Idyllic! Talk to the fishermen repairing their lobster cages at the end of the beach, have the crab salad at The Fat Apple, definitely try the sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream at rte Five Pilchards."
Cottage set in 2 acres, next to coast path, short walk to beach, pub & cafe! 😎
"Wow! Where do I even start? What an absolutely brilliant little cottage! The location, the cottage itself, and everything about our stay has been perfect. It's quintessentially charming, spotlessly clean, incredibly welcoming, and the perfect size for our family. It has everything you could possibly need, with so many thoughtful touches; from the cleaning essentials and cupboard basics like salt and pepper to the delicious fresh scones waiting for us on arrival. The little courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy a morning cuppa with a book as the sun starts to peek through. The grassy area is perfect for a kickabout or a few ball games, and the goats and runner ducks were such a wonderful addition, they were a huge hit!!Paula has been fantastic from the moment we booked right through to our departure. She's been so friendly, helpful, and a genuinely wonderful host.We really hope to return one day and honestly can't recommend this place highly enough. A perfect stay from start to finish!"
Cadgwith Cove Inn
"Very enjoyable 2 night stay on our way down to the Isles of Scilly. Clean and comfortable room and an excellent breakfast each morning."
Old Temperance House
"Great place to stay, Kevin is the perfect host."
