“Spent two great days at this B&B. It's off the main highways in a small village environment. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful, friendly and made our stay relaxing. The room was large, clean and stocked with tea, coffee and water. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast bun was amazing, the bacon and sausage tasted great. We had an evening meal which was also prepared and cooked well. “The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed.
