I arrived late and the night manager was great. I had to get up early and wanted a recommendation for breakfast. He said to go to Granny's, just down the street; it was great. Room was clean, area seemed a little sketchy but parking lot was well lit.

False advertisement

we never stayed. There were drugs being dealt right out front of one of the rooms there were prostitutes, and it was dirty smelled of marijuana felt very unsafe.

MAKE SURE YOU READ SOME REVIEWS BEFORE STAYING IN HOTELS IF SENSITIVE TO SMOKE. The guy who checked me in was nice, it was strange almost like he was living in the lobby illegally with his dog (not certain). From the exterior it looked ok, I reserved a non smoking room and first room I walked in smelt so bad of smoke it made my skin crawl. Second “non smoking” room smelt like vomit or someone died in there. It was dark outside and I couldn’t stay there I was so grossed out i didn’t make it past the front door of each “non smoking” room. Expedia was able to cancel when you call and speak to an agent but it’s a process and online it might say you can’t cancel but you can for reasons like this

The room was large and beds were clean, but the floor was dirty. This motel has a lot of folks living in it, and they have dogs and children. The pool was closed because they did not have a flotation device. They offer NO amenities, no coffee, no breakfast, parts from equipment sitting in the driveway. This is not a hotel to recommend to travelers except in an emergency like ours, hurricane Helene.

Roach motel…. And door didn’t work so had to ask the girl at office she got all in a tiff like we didn’t know how to use the key. Finally after 4 tips to the office she unlocked it with the master key for us.

I think the decimal point should have been 0.8/10.The room was simple but the bed blanket that laid over a very stained mattress was filthy and had globs of hair on it I told the clerk that I could not stay in that room because it was filthy and asked for a refund and of course I was denied.....rate -0

I never got to go. My rental car had a large amount of unexpected fees not informed to me. I still got charged for the room even though I had no clue that the rental car wasn't going to work out. How was I supposed to know 48 hrs ahead. I'm totally unsatisfied with the policy. Corporate is making billions off of people that have unfortunate things happen. I will never book another room again with them.

When we drove up there was a crowd of people hanging out in the parking lot with car doors open and people milling about. It looked very unsafe. We went to a different hotel. We cancelled the reservation, which had been made only an hour earlier, and though Expedia tried to get us a refund, the hotel refused to give us a refund. Will never book at Americas Best again!

House keeping was very friendly, overall our stay was quiet and secure. Paul and Johntay are very friendly and fun to talk with, Vic and the dog Summer were very professional. Only complaint was no coffee and the room could have been cleaned better under bed and night stand.
