Best time ever!!!!!

Our stay was awesome. Plenty of things to do and plenty of fun to go around. Close to everything, it’s the perfect location 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 15 minutes from Pigion Forge.

Perfect for 2 families!

The cabin was fabulous and perfect for my family and inlaws. Living area was a little smaller than I thought but was plenty of room. Location was great. We could easily get to any of the attractions. Will hopefully make this an annual trip.

Great Family Vacation

My family and I met for a vacation at this lovely cabin. We were a group of 10 and were very comfortable in this space. The cabin was immaculate. We were given plenty of sheets and towels. We enjoyed the hot tub! We were close to many attractions. The only problem we had was we never found the pool.

Wonderful home.

The property provided ample amount of space for my family of 9. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and pillows. The only suggestion I would make it asked for feedback is to replace the current coffee pot with one that turns off automatically. Would go back again without a doubt!!!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We have been coming to the Gatlinburg area for years. I will have to say Honey Bear Hideaway was one of the best chalets we have stayed at. It had every thing we needed for the weekend. Plenty of space so that the adults could play cards in the evening while the kids played their games as well. The customer service was GREAT and quick to respond! We were already planning our next visit before we even left this one. Thank you for an AWESOME holiday weekend and we look forward to staying with you again!

Part of choosing the cabin was for the use of the pool. Received an email a couple of days before the stay that it was unavailable 😬. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay with the family! It was great to stay at a place that didn’t have a LIST of things to do before leaving!!

Mountain Family Time

This cabin was perfect for our family of 10!! More than enough space for everyone!! Large bedrooms and bathrooms!! Beautiful decks on each level, great game room!! Tv's are hard to navigate downstairs. Beautiful views. And a great broom store on the way to cabin. Definitely would stay again!! Thanks again for the memories, Simpson's/Reynolds's/McCagg's

Perfect for families

Great property with plenty of room. We had three families there with a total of nine people. Everyone was able to have their own space and best of all bathroom. The kids loved the pool table. They played every night. Hot tub was great after hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the cabin was a big part of that. Only slightly negative thing I could even say is that we wished we had more room for garbage. We cooked at the cabin a lot and it piles up fast. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home.

The tub area was disgusting the shower curtain covered in black mold so were the jets on tub was afraid to use them no real fireplace even thou they made it sound like there was never again

GIRLS TRIP

House was fine. Would like instructions on getting the tv's to work. Sofa bed was terrible and nasty. Mattress was stained and filled with crumbs when we unfolded it. other than that it was great.

Review of Cabin

The cabin was fine. I thought for the price it did need some upgrading. Microwave door had tape on it. Both upstairs bathrooms had paint swatches, the tiles floors upstairs have places that are uneven and are a tripping hazzard. The deck could some repairs. Overall though my family did enjoy our stay.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

Lovely lay out; the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beautifully decorated, attention was paid to every detail. The decor flowed throughout; bear motif was in the plates, wall hangings, even the chords to the fans and the toilet paper holder followed the bear theme. The unit was extremely clean and well maintained, we were thoroughly impressed. The televisions in each room were large enough to actually enjoy watching in the evenings. Deck space was large and set for entertaining; hot tub was updated, clean, and large. Enough chairs on each level for everyone in our party to enjoy the scenery. Patio table was a great size, we enjoyed dining in with space for everyone in our party to sit together. We can't wait to come again!

Enjoyed our stay

The cabin was very nice. The pictures of the living room and recreation room are a bit deceiving. The rooms are not as large as they appear. When we arrived, the carpeting throughout the house was filthy dirty - multiple spills everywhere. We called that evening and they sent out a carpet cleaning company the next morning. The carpets were spotless when we returned later in the day. We had a couple of other minor issues that were also taken care of very promptly. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The cabin is a good value for the price - maybe a little "lived in" but very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Cleanliness

We enjoyed our stay and the listing was accurate. We had a couple issues with the cleanliness of the property. Upon arrival, outside the front door was garbage and the 1st impression we had was a tampon/applicator in front of the 1st step into the cabin. Also the pull out mattress was stained and had bugs and hair on it so we weren't able to use it which meant all 10 of us that stayed didn't have a place to sleep. Over all nice area and nice cabin but they may need to hire a new cleaning service.

Awesome Cabin!

This cabin is beautiful and spacious! It was plenty big for 5 adults and 3 kids and there was still room for more people. It included everything we needed to cook and the huge dining table had plenty of room for all of us to enjoy meals together. The fireplaces were amazing since it was so cold while we were up there. The kids and the guys loved the pool table downstairs. The porches were very nice but didn't get a chance to enjoy sitting out on them due to the cold temperatures. We took a quick dip in the hot tub and it was relaxing. The staff that manages it was absolutely amazing as well. The WiFi went down one day and they sent someone out quickly and had it fixed while we were out and about...and they even took our two huge bags of Christmas wrapping paper trash without us even asking. I would highly recommend staying at this cabin or even one of the other cabins that they own!

The cabin is in a wooded area with a slight view of the mountains. When we first arrived at 4:30 pm the water was completely shut off. We had to contact the bear Tootin team They contacted the owner then the maintainer man who came out at 1030 pm at night to turn it back on. It was an inconvenience to have it off but it was great to have the maintenance man come out of his way to turn it back on. The cabin wasn’t all as clean and up kept. My daughter went out of her way and cleaned it before we did anything. The stairs ahead stains on them as well as the downstairs hall. The downstairs bathroom had bad water stains in the bathroom above the shower and it looked as if one of the tiles in the roof was going to collapse from pressure. I understand that it’s not the cabin that makes the vacation but it sure was a lot of money spent for an definite need of love home.

Great stay, troubled wife.

The stay was great. The Rooms were nice every bedroom had a bathroom except downstairs they had to share. The heat didn’t work downstairs so the ones in the bedrooms had to use a personal heater which took a while to heat up. The wifi also didn’t work no matter how many times we tried. So upstairs you could watch cable but downstairs you couldn’t watch anything. The toilet was broken downstairs and we had to fix it the first night we were there, the chain had rusted so bad you couldn’t flush the toilet. Location was great to downtown and very easy to get to. Dominos also delivers to the cabin. So all in all we would definitely stay again just gotta make sure those few things were fixed.
