Sis Q Inn

8/10 Good

"The property was quaint. It was kind of dated, but was good for what we needed it for (sleep and shower after a day out in mother nature). The shower was large enough to comfortably fit my wife and I. I didn't try the breakfast at all, so I can't rate that. I would most likely stay there again (just might get a king bed instead of the queen)."

Lakeside Stone Cottage on 6 acres on Hammond--pet friendly

10/10 Excellent

"The Stone Cottage is at the top of my VRBO rentals. Located on a secluded but not difficult to navigate dirt road, it is tucked away amongst the trees. It is very quiet with no visible neighbors. In the winter there is the beautiful lake just outside the door. During the fall there is a wide open meadow. Take chairs down to the lake edge for a beautiful view of Mt Shasta. The interior is beautiful and cozy with a giant fireplace. Everything you need is there, from a stocked kitchen to open walk in shower and large soaking tub. The real gem though is all the windows, all the better to gaze out at the natural surroundings. I have stayed several times and I hope to again many more times. The host is friendly and responsive and she makes everything easy and worry free."

Shasta Cottage, A romantic get-away in Mt. Shasta.

10/10 Excellent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back! The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy. It was quiet (no one was in the larger attached house). It was easy to find. Great location not far from the road but also surrounded by so many trees you couldn't see the road and you felt like you were in a much more remote location. You could hear the road noise a little but not inside and even if you were out on the deck the road isn't that busy. Town has everything you need and is close. Great restaurants. Really flawless stay. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the couch in the living room which only matters because the TV streaming selection was AMAZING and if you decided to have an evening at home to binge something it wasn't the best couch to cozy up on."

10/10 Excellent

"Every traveler has different wants and needs. But for us, the house was just about perfect. Including the nighttime serenade from passing trains. We attended a seminar north of Weed and shopping/dining were handy in Lake Shasta south, Nothing to offer but praise."

500 Acre Ranch on the Foot of Mount Shasta.

10/10 Excellent

"This place is really one of a kind, with the house overlooking a scenic meadow with horses and cattle and mountains in the background. Mount Shasta is close by, and the views of it from the property are fantastic. We spent several hours relaxing on the front porch, with a summer breeze, and watched the stars at night. Two ponds are located on the property with opportunities to fly fish. We look forward to returning here again. Town is close by, and the town of Mount Shasta just about ten minutes down the road. Lake Siskiyou is also close by and great for swimming in the summer."
