“Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Has a very small microwave and a dorm style refrigerator. Low end soaps and shampoo, no hair dryer. Overhead can lights only, no beside lamps. One light burned out and seems if they fail they just remove the light itself. Light over bath mirror was removed with wall plate installed leaving you with an overhead can light only. Not a place that they stay up on maintenance unless absolutely necessary. Didn’t use the pool but not sure if I would want to. Easy……

“Very disappointing stay. The room smelled horrible, and check-in wasn’t even handled on-site—we had to go down the street to another motel to check in. The biggest concern was that the smoke detector in our room was wrapped in plastic, which appeared to make it nonfunctional. The property itself was dirty, with overflowing trash, and the advertised pool was nothing more than a small plastic kids’ pool like you would buy from a store. The parking lot was also extremely small and cramped. We……

“A wonderful home right in the lap of nature soaking in beautiful Mount Shasta. We spent a most relaxing and rejuvenating weekend in Basecamp lodge. Being vegetarians, we were able to come back after our day long trek and cook nice meals using the well equipped kitchen. Provisions easily purchased from the nearby supermarket, Ray’s food place is a great option 10 min away. The cabin had an elegant design with a good working TV and internet :). A perfect getaway for a couple or a small family!”

“Hands down the best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time! If you hate waiting at the front desk, you will love this place. Online check-in was flawless, and they just email you the room key passcode so you can walk straight to your room. My husband and I travel a lot, and we have never stayed at a hotel where the WiFi worked perfectly—we usually can't even finish a single movie. But the WiFi here is top-notch! The TV uses a Rukita connection, so we just signed into our Netflix and Prime……
