Great campsite! We will definitely be back. Several trails from site lead to the river. Site numbers 3-5 (maybe more) look right out on to the river. Dog friendly, sell firewood on site ($6) they have showers and clean, nice (for a campsite) bathrooms. Good size sites. $20 a night. This property is atrocious, people lived in the house until the day before our stay which was booked in early March. The greeting coming in is a sign that says slow the fuck down then a pot plant and trash ,this house is not equipped with anything there was other peoples things in the house and people ...

Mt. Thielsen’s steep summit spire was formed via glacial erosion after the volcano ceased erupting. It’s seen here towering over Diamond Lake from neighboring volcano, Mt. Bailey. Bailey itself is much younger and as such is more rounded on the summit - it has not been as whittled by ice. Discoveries like these are why my husband and two dogs and I have been on the road for three months in our van! #adventure
