The Eagle's Nest has only one step to the house and one step to the dock ON the Lake of Egypt. A paved sitting area is ideal for all ages to rest, play, and enjoy the view. A GRASSY YARD makes a great setting for yard games, while the PORCH & SUN ROOM are perfect for visiting, game playing, and plain RELAXATION. There is a COVERED, 2-slip BOAT DOCK with POWER for your boat(s), or you could rent our PONTOON for an additional fee. Make this location your next destination for serenity, fun, or whatever you need!

This is our 5th year here and wouldn’t stay any place else!! Beautiful home, lakefront, neighborhood and great fishing!! Spending the day boating and swimming in the lake is so relaxing. Spectacular views and the most gracious hosts there could ever be. Heather and Jeff are amazing and are on top of everything!! My family looks forward to this trip more than any other and are already planning on next year!!

Annual fishing trip

4th year we’ve stayed at properties owned by Jeff and Heather. Always great all around. Wouldn’t want to stay any place else on Lake of Egypt.

Best hidden gem in the area

We found the perfect location to meet our college kids for Easter weekend!. The home was spacious and clean, offering the ideal setup to hang out with family. We absolutely loved the outdoor space too. The view of the lake was incredibly relaxing. The best part was that this home provided the perfect space for some amazing family time!

Great fishing trip

The house was very clean and well taken care of. It was a great location on the lake for fishing and was easy to get to with a trailer. The owner was very nice and helped with getting the boat trailer parked in the driveway! It was a short drive to a grocery store and several restaurants but was easily done. The dock was in great shape and easy to use as well as being in deep enough water.

We had a wonderful stay at Heather and Jeff's House. This is our 3rd time at this house, and it has everything we needed to enjoy visiting with our entire family! The hosts are the best and super helpful and friendly. Beautiful house and location on the lake!

Beautiful lake view!

Great outdoor space to enjoy the views and tranquility of the lake. Interior space comfortable and clean. Nice paved parking but slope of the parking and access to home entrance can be challenging for guests with mobility issues.

Perfect Family Getaway

Family friendly living area with one of the best views on the lake! Fire pit right on the water and swimming dock on a quiet part of the lake were favorites for our three year old. Can't wait to book our next getaway with these friendly and responsive owners.

Relaxing Respite

We loved our stay! So beautiful and relaxing. We loved the home, sitting by the lake and relaxing on the porch. The house was perfect for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, grilling on the porch and eating outside. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. Such a great getaway.

This property is great. It fit are party size of 7 well. It's quiet, relaxing, and just an all-around comfortable play to stay. We'll be staying there again for sure.

Relating retreat

The property was everything it was represented to be in the listing. Our family had a very relaxing week. The highlight though was the evening we went outside to find 4 deer feeding on acorns, and 2 playing on the roof. That was a first.

Wonderful Stay!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! We came for a long weekend during Spring Break and wanted to be outdoors as much as possible. GREAT hiking at nearby state park and we love the fire pit, kayaks, and fishing on the lake at the house. Hosts were great and communicated very well. Would love to come back again!

Beautiful lake house
