"We have visited Carbondale multiple times as our daughter attends school there. This hotel is our "go to" place to stay...decent price for what you get...clean rooms, decent breakfast, and friendly staff."

"I’m upset because I booked this hotel for the pool specifically and it was under maintenance which id only found out after checking in. I didn’t stay there for the rest of the night, but I was clean."

"Parking was horrendous/non-existent. Noise around the hotel was terrible. There is only one elevator in the center of the building so depending on where your room is and where you park, you might end up walking really far to your room and then back and forth to your car...nightmare. Upon entering the room, a foul odor. Dishwasher was rancid. That got better after we ran it. Garbage disposal didn't work and was full of rotten food. "

"No hotel staff, only a kiosk for check in and check out. When arrived no pillows, had to wait two hours to recieve any. Hotel was a little dirty, rooms were clean. Beds were comfy but TV had no channels and wifi was very slow. "

"The room was dirty. Holes in the doors and walls. Missing trim pieces on the floor. Missing the chair that goes to the desk. The bed was like three feet high and was not able to get on the bed. No lights in the bedroom. Overall room was dirty. The furniture looked like it had not been clean or dusted for quite some time. We have stayed in this hotel.Many times and this was the worst it has ever been. And I will be notifying corporate office. "

"The staff are extremely friwndly and the resort is very clean. The room was spacious, but our bed was a little hard. We were still able to sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel and casino. I will be back soon."

"The cabin was clean and very comfortable! The kitchen was well prepared with anything you could need to cook with. We enjoyed the grill and were happy to have it available. Steve was great with communication and so friendly! Perfect location for us with our daughter attending SIU. The snacks on the table were a neat added bonus. We will definitely stay again! "
