Great views of Mount Fuji can be seen from the property, or anywhere in Fujiyoshida for that matter. Host doesn't speak English, but is fluent in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean amongst other languages. She's super helpful and accommodating."

"Nice spot for a short stay. No kitchen really, but there is a shared fridge and microwave. Right next to a school where loud kids play baseball into the late evening so if you’re an early sleeper might not be the best retreat. Really convenient for the bikes. The bedding is thin so if you’re used to a fluffy bed, not your cup of tea. The men only have one very small bathroom area (the women’s is much larger and nicer), but the shower is hot and powerful. "It was about 15 minutes walk from Odawara train station. There’s many steep stairs to third floor outside of building. We stayed Carol room for 8 nights which is next to Dada room. This Dada room’s bed(couch) attaches to the wall of Carol room. Walls are thin and noise like TV and talking on the phone kept us awake every night. Air conditioner/heater wasn’t working properly. The description indicates TV in living room but there’s no TV. Toilet was a bit old and smelly. Will not stay again. "

"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"The hotel opened three weeks before our stay, so it was absolutely stunning and modern. we also had a gorgeous view of Mt Fuji from our balcony in the morning. the personal onsen was also a great touch. beware that this is a digital hotel, so check in is a little frustrating. the other issue is that you can only use the wending machine if you have a Japanese mobile phone (eSim does not work) and it is a self catering hotel. restaurants around close at 5, there is a pizzeria with last order at 7....

"100% perfect view of Fuji-san!! Short walk from Kawaguchiko Station and the route is generally flat and well lit at night. The property was very modern and minimalist. Room was clean but had some drain flies in the toilet. Very spacious and can easily fit four adults and luggage. Walls were not very sound-proof but was still acceptable. "

"We really liked staying at Tannpopo. Our room was unused for a long time before we checked in and needed to be aired out. Otherwise it was a great stay in a really central place."
