“The room smelled musty when we first entered. There was a lot of dust/dirt on the bathroom floor that came up when I wiped up some water after a shower. It makes me wonder if we got a room that was not used for a long period of time. In the main walkway by the front desk, there were some loose/broken tile. The front desk person just said “be careful” after my mother almost tripped over it. A caution sign or the like would have been safer. The hot tub is permanently closed, but the pool was fine.……

“I usually skip the 5 star reviews and read the more balanced ones first, so I tried to keep my expectations realistic. Overall, this hotel was decent for the price. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has an old saloon style theme, but the hallways and paintings throughout the hotel, including in our room, gave off a creepy vibe. I know that is subjective, but they were not my style. There was no elevator, and the main entrance has an old round doorknob that was worn down and……

“This hotel needs some serious care. The room we were put in first did not have the beds made. The sheets were stained with a brown substance. The front desk person was kind enough to move us right away. The second room was infested with ants and smelled like urine...I went to the front desk twice to advise of ants and was given a disinfectant and a towel.. i went to walmart for bug spray and lysol myself...we only stayed 3 nights and if I had a better option I would have checked out day one.”
