"We had an amazing time during our short stay at this locally owned property. Vin, along with Mom and Uncle Pan, made us feel like part of the family. We definitely look forward to a longer stay here next time! Our time here came at the end of a 3 week stay on island and was the perfect place to relax ..."
"Excellent location with a beautiful view, a little paradise! The property is secluded but close to everything that you wish on the island (snorkeling, diving, nice beaches , jungle, etc.). Soufriere is a lovely town. We had wonderful vacations and enjoyed the place with a very nice host. Driving ..."

"When we arrived we were taken to a room far from the beach and in order to be close to the gym, restaurants and the beach we needed to take a shuttle everyday. "The location is incredible; and the plantation beautiful. It’s very private, safe and quiet. The pool is stunning; as well as the view. Chateau Lafitte was a great option with two young kids. Antonia was accommodating and helpful."
"We had a great stay at this property. The visit to this beautiful part of St. Lucia was enhanced with our stay at Kaye Coco as it provided a home base for our ventures into nature and all the comforts of home when at the villa."

I was very disappointed; however, one of the managers on the team, Darling, understood our concern and moved us to one of the beachfront bunglows, which completely turned around our experience at the resort.
FIVE STAR for EVERYTHING!"

"I can't say enough good things about Ladera. We went for our Honeymoon and it was absolute paradise. First and most importantly, the staff were beyond welcoming, kind, and accommodating. Every detail was thought through from the welcome rum drink to the tasty check-out treat and everything in-between. The food at Dasheene was fabulous, the views beyond real, and the rooms comfortable and relaxing. While you might think it would be hot and buggy with the open wall concept, it truly wasn't bad - especially with the bug net and spray! The cool air off the ocean makes it comfortable. I think the fourth wall removed is all part of the unique experience! The resort is a quick taxi ride down to the beaches and town of Soufriere, and walking distance from the Robot restaurant where all dishes and cocktails are made from locally grown Cocoa (delish). To be honest, we barely wanted to leave the resort. It was so relaxing and beautiful. While we went during the rainy season, it actually added to the beauty. The property was green and luscious, taken care of by Ray - who climbed up a tree to gift us with some Saint Lucian apples. So cool! We got a couples massage (which was AMAZING) and did the Land & Sea tour which I would highly recommend. Lastly, Caroline took care of our every need (thank you!). I can only hope to get back to St. Lucia, and of course, stay at the beautiful Ladera. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for an unforgettable stay. "

"We had an amazing time during our short stay at this locally owned property. Vin, along with Mom and Uncle Pan, made us feel like part of the family. We definitely look forward to a longer stay here next time!
Our time here came at the end of a 3 week stay on island and was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The location is great for solitude and quiet while also being just a short walk or drive to some of the island's most interesting natural sites.
We booked here because it is locally owned and we have developed an interest in St Lucian (Choiseul) pottery. The experience did not disappoint. From spending time with Vin and her family to getting a short tour (a small extra charge, well worth it!) of the property and demo of how coalpots are made everything was amazing! Vin was helpful in arranging dinner at a restaurant called The View, which is a short drive (or walk, though coming back to the property was a good uphill climb, lol). As of our stay in May 2022 the restaurant was reservation only so you'll want to work with Vin to help pre-arrange.
The property was spotless. Well appointed kitchen for basic self catering, including new small appliances. The queen bed was firm and comfortable. There is an AC in the main bedroom that we only ran part of the night. In the rest of the house and outside there was a substantial breeze that helped keep us cool.
As stated in other reviews, driving around this area can be interesting."

"The property is beautifully maintained and the staff is extremely helpful. Beach is within a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. The Gros Piton Trail is also within walking distance. We rented a car from the host for a few days but I would highly recommend hiring a driver through the host to pick you up from the airport because the roads are quite difficult and recommend asking your driver to take you to the grocery store on the way to your hotel so you don't have to go back out right away. The restaurant and bar at the Tet Rouge is amazing and is just steps away from the villa. Definitely make reservations for dinner here. Enjoy your stay. Everyone is friendly and inviting. You will not be disappointed."

"We had a fabulous three days at La Dauphine staying in Chateau Lafitte. The property was perfect for our needs and Antonia made us feel very welcome when we arrived. The setting on a working plantation is simply stunning and we were very lucky to meet Charles the estate manager who was frankly inspiring to talk to. His knowledge and passion for managing the plantation including the Cocoa production was just so interesting to hear. We used this as a base to visit the south and hiked Tet Paul (great views) and Gros Piton (tough but enjoyable hike), along with the volcano mud baths and nearby waterfalls.
We loved the tranquility of staying on the estate and the pool was great to relax in taking in all the views of the plantation. Highly recommend in combination with their sister property, Villa Beach Cottages in Castries."
