We loved the location! The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Right in the heart of town it was easy to walk to any restaurant and easy walk to the beach! We will be back!!!

It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

We only had two nights at Rio Perdido but they were amazing. From the moment we walked in and were welcomed with the most delicious passion fruit welcome drink till the moment we checked out with the friendly folk at reception, we felt warmly received and graciously cared for. This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. There were two other guests who also had food intolerances/allergies, and both were easily accommodated.The breakfast buffet had many fabulous choices. The staff encourages you to order anything else you don't see ...Bacon, fried eggs, omelettes. We drank the 'house water' (from the filtered tap at the bar) the entire time and didn't get sick. The roads getting to the property — and the Nosara area — were incredibly bumpy and rough. Once we arrived it was totally worth it. The staff was very friendly, they helped us with our Spanish, made it easy to schedule rides to town and activities offered. The restsurant was beautiful and the food was fresh and they had light healthy options. Great place to stay if planning on seeing arribada at Ostional, we had 4x4 so had no issues driving that last signing with pit holes. Great breakfast! We came after 6pm after normal check in hours but got checked in by staff no issues. Overall will definitely stay here again and recommend!

The hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The ease for making arrangements - transportation to other area attractions as well as other locations in Costa Rica - plus COVID testing on site, and thoughtful room design made this a pleasant place to stay. I learned a lot at the lessons I took at the hotel’s surf club.

Milena and her husband are truly wonderful people who shared their little gem with anyone who stays over and you just don’t want to leave. This place is truly special I strongly recommend. I have travel all over the world and this place had the best hospitality and food for a reasonable price. We extend our stayed and can’t wait to be back again :)

We were greeted when we pulled up and helped with our luggage. Check in was easy. The staff extremely helpful and nice. We were given a tour of the property while our luggage was taken to our room. There were bikes to use as you wanted. A nice swimming pool. Surf boards for lessons. A surf school on property. The room was large and clean. The AC only in the bedroom. Coffee maker. Dishes/glassware. We had reusable water bottles waiting for us in our room. Pack this souvenir on your way...

Good location only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Carrillo Beach, easy walk to restaurants and market. Big room, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, great pool, delicious breakfast and more! Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at The Coast Beachfront Hotel! The staff is amazing. The room was awesome. Wonderful experience and we will be back. It was even better than some of the places we’ve stayed beachfront in the US. We can hardly wait to go back!

The grounds at the hotel are amazing. The tropical gardens that surround the guest rooms, paths, and pool make for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spaced well apart and have a lot if privacy from the covered verandas. The views are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring and taking advantage of the many activities in the area.

If you are looking for a great resort that is quite, peaceful, and to get away from everything this is it. The rooms looking over the ocean were scenic and it was just a short walk to the beaches. They even had a small place that belonged only to the resort. It was close enough to the shops that you could walk around. The hotel made itself secluded so you didn't feel like you were in town. This stay is better than getting a hotel room. Only problem i had was, not having someone in person to help me with the process of achieving the keys. If not for the kindness of the security guard, I would have been really frustrated. It isn't the job of the security guard to be manager. They should be compensated.

We loved the small 2-bedroom apartment we booked for 3 weeks in July. For 2 kids and one adult it was perfect in size. It got a bit messy when we were 4 people. However, you are usually out and about and everything is close by on foot... Biggest plus: you are at the beach in 3 minutes! The pool is cleaned daily and really well taken care off. If you want to really get away from it all and just kick back, this is the place. After driving down dirty, rocky roads, through crazy Tamarindo, you arrive at Cala Luna - paradise. No Spring Break scene here at all - it is serene and civilized. The rooms are private with lush tropical plants surrounding you.
