"Mostly excellent. Was a bit disappointed in the fitness room, however. Several of the exercise machines were improperly configured or calibrated. Excellent fitness facilities are among my reasons for choosing Hampton Inn hotels. This is why I downgraded my evaluation from a 5 to a 4."

"I will start with all the positives. The host is sweet and responsive. The location is great, the hot tub was nice, there was plenty of parking, the price is reasonable, and the place was very clean. Other than that, the place is a little rough. The house is extremely old. The toilet feels like you might fall through the floor when you sit, the door knobs were falling off the bedroom doors, the house is tiny, the shower is a downhill slope, the bedroom my husband and I slept in had a bed that bowed in the middle so badly that we were afraid to roll over in the night, and each room has 1-2 outlets. We were also given 1 1/4 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people. I guess the last guest didn’t use their whole allotted roll so we were given the little bit they had left as well as 1 new roll. I don’t think I’ve ever been given a used roll of toilet paper before. And lastly there is a dog next door that barks after the sun goes down and doesn’t stop until about 11pm. "

"The room was most definitely neglected. It was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled like an ashtray. There were roaches every where. The ceilings were cracked and you could see outside. The smoke alarm was hanging out of the wall with no batteries and had exposed wires. I was beside myself. I ended up leaving as quick as I got there. "
