Welcome to the beautiful house in Balmoral Resort!!!!
This 4 bedroom single story home with lake view offers an extra space and comfort for family vacations as well as group getaways. The home feature screened in private swimming pools, patios, open floor plans, contemporary high-end furnishings, fully-equipped modern kitchens, free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, full size washer and dryer and the convenience of an attached 2-car garage as well as extra parking space in the driveway.
The space
The Balmoral resort club house is a privately-run and is not part of the HOA. It is independently owned and operated. The clubhouse can promote private events where the clubhouse could be closed for a period of a few hours at short notice.

Guests can gain access to the Clubhouse's amenities by purchasing a Day Pass($25 per guest) from the Guest Services Staff.

There is NO POOL HEATING SERVICE in the property.

Crap Shoot - Literally!
The toilets did not flush properly. We report it on day 1 and were repeatedly told to “flush it again” that the septic system isn't good there. We've been to the resort before as well we know others there at this same time and NO ONE experienced the same problems. 5 People had to share one toilet! We were unable to lock front door from the outside. We were fed some nonsense about the HOA’s refusal to service the property and that they were in control of door lock codes. We were notified of this less than 3 hours before our rental start with the option to cancel… not much of an option given we made the plans months ago and finding accommodations for 5 adults at the last minute for a week is not so easy…. Very disappointed. I don’t know who is responsible by I hold VRBO 100% liable for our poor experience. It shouldn't be a crap-shoot when renting through VRBO!!!!

Overall very disappointing and frustrating process to get into the house
Could not get a hold of property owner to get access to the property , contacted VRBO and they could not get us inside also. VRBO said they would pay for 2 hotel rooms but once we got to hotel they had only paid for one and I ultimately had to pay for the second room. The whole situation was really stressful, we were 3 adults, 3 kids and two dogs. It wasn’t until the second day that we were able to get a hold of the owner and access the rental.

Very nice with a few glitches
The place is beautiful! However the well appointed kitchen had very few pots and pans. There was a blanket in one bedroom that had big holes in it. No paper products at all. No foil or plastic wrap. Only a few bath towels but no hand towels, wash cloths or kitchen towels. There were ants and maggots all over the garage but none inside, which was clean and just what we needed during a hurricane!
