"Everything was great from the food to the staff lovely stay all around "

"Loved the location on the beach. The pool is outdoor so it was closed till Summertime. Breakfast was OK. I would stay here again. We went to the pier fir dinner. Food was ok but i'de go there for drinks. Gators had good food. "

"I booked this room for a friend. She enjoyed the breakfast and the comfortable room. Mostly, however, she felt comfortable with the very friendly staff who were never too busy to answer a question or to accommodate (she uses a cane), She was traveling with her cat, which they also accommodated nicely."

"Our stay overall would have been pleasant if not for the hateful staff member in the breakfast area between 8 and 9 a.m. I accidentally spilled some cereal trying to figure out the dispenser and she came at me like a charging bull, wanting to know why I had spilled the cereal. I apologized. She wouldn't acknowledge me; just rolled her eyes and left me standing there in shock at her rudeness. They couldn't pay me to stay there again. Her behavior was outrageous considering her very job is in hospitality."

"Crowne Plaza is run down and not very clean. We had to move rooms because the first room we entered was dirty and the 2nd room was not much better. The hotel overall is not kept up. Staff was friendly and quickly gave us a 2nd room without hesitation. "

"My room was very dusty. The hotel was fine for a one night stay while we visited Hampton University."

"Room was clean but did not have a trash can other then bathroom. The beds were not very comfortable, shower pressure not great. Hot tub in the pool room was broken. 2 different days we went to pool and there were no towels. For the hotel we honestly expected more. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. "
