“It was the perfect size for my daughter and I. It was 1 room with 2 beds, a kitchenette with a full sized fridge, double recliner, and bathroom with a shower. The owners were great and any communication was quick. We absolutely loved the double recliner. It was so comfy! The location was great. We had no trouble finding it. “We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). “Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...

“This was a perfect place to rest up between hiking and snowboarding. So close to my favorite hike, right next to a creek with a fire pit. So relaxing!”

“This cabin was perfect for a quick weekend away. It had everything we needed from paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper (not the cheap kind either) to bottles of water in the refrigerator. It was extremely clean. The area was quiet. The only thing we regret is not being able to sit on the porch because it was too chilly. Would absolutely recommend. ”

“The Tiny Home was a perfect stay for a getaway in nature, but still close to fun in Thomas. It has all of the amenities you would need for a getaway , plus more! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the entire place is cozy without feeling cramped. Would definitely stay there again! ”

“The cabin was so cute, quiet, and relaxing. There’s no potable water there though, which would have been nice to know in advance. The hosts arranged to have some more bottled water brought to up within an hour of us arriving after we reached out, and also gave us recommendations on hikes in the area. Overall, my partner and I had a lovely time and would comeback in a heartbeat. ”

“Within minutes of Thomas and Blackwater falls. This was a wonderful place for me and my boyfriend to stay at. It was central and made things so much easier especially cause we dont know our way around. I definitely would recommend this place, just for the sights alone. I will say my only note would be adding a sign or a little sticker that steps may be slippery with socks on, my boyfriend fell down three on the first day, but all was good.
