We reserved our room to be with our son's soccer team for a tournament and on arrival we were informed there was a "system glitch" despite confirmation that they had our reservation that was also confirmed on my phone. Approximately an hour later we were told that the people in our "assigned room" were refusing to leave with assistant manager indicating they were upgraded the day prior and did not want to change and the other individual at the desk indicating they were refusing to check out. As we awaited a call back from the manager that was promised to us from assistant manager we went to dinner with our team and 5 hours later we still did not have a room with the only offer of a studio that slept 2 in a queen bed stating "we can give you blankets for the floor" for the other 2 (traveling 2 adults, 2 children). In the meantime, we were never contacted but he manager due to "bad cell service", watched the assistant manager check in MANY other guests whose "assigned rooms" were available, and were threatened to have the police called on us as we were raising our voices and "very insistent". The service was terrible from the assistant manager and other staff as they were "checking on our room" and we saw them on cell phones, having pizza delivered, and generally disappearing to the back office for 45 minutes on two occasions to the point where other guests standing at the desk had to call the hotel to get them to come to provide service.
