"Arrived late, evening staff was friendly and gave us room key in a little cardboard wallet thing, we go upto our room and crash out..... NOW... included in the little wallet behind the keycards for the room was info... (never informed of this info, and never found the info) was a paper telling us about times for breakfast and wifi and such. heck I even tried to lookup when the breakfast was ended and couldn't find it. 9:02am wife heads down to get some breakfast for the kids and everything is already gone... wife starts grabbing some yogart that was still available/ and lady cleaning up rudely tells her the breakfast was until 9am and what does she think she is doing? again... 9:02am... I come down and wife is upset, lady says we were informed.. I tell her I was never told - she is like it's on the paper... WHAT PAPER? - she shows the paper behind my room keys - well THANK you for hiding the paper .. Kids are hungry... just check me out - no longer need to be here.. lady was like.. yea okay.. but the policy is to tell you when breakfast is - well it NEVER WAS TOLD. and you HID the paper... Still upset over the rudeness - not my fault we were never told and hiding a paper and saying we were given the info was just so helpful. No attempt to resolve just say it was out fault."

"This is a decent place to stay it's right off the highway which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable The only thing I didn't like was there was no freezer so I could recharge my ice packs. We will stay there again because it's in our budget and right off the highway on the way down to Florida."

"The building is old. It looked like there was few people there. We got stuck on the top floor at the end of the hall. Never seen anyone on that floor. The hallway old stinky smell. No ice machine on the third floor. There was a dirty sock under the sink someone left behind."

"The room was not very clean. Throughout the stay (4 nights) they did not come to clean our room once. We had to bring our dirty towels to the office to get them replaced with new towels. When we asked the front staff they told us rooms were cleaned daily- again not accurate, when we asked the second time that staff said rooms were only cleaned on request- they told us ours would be done the next day- it was not cleaned. There was a musty smell to the room. With the $60 deposit I was worried they would say the uncleanliness was our fault (it was not) or that towels were missing (again they were not but we had to bring them each time to get new)- luckily that was not an issue and I did get the deposit back."

"We arrived at 11:30pm on 5/30/2026 after a multitude of issues with a booking at another hotel (A third party booking site had somehow lost our reservation). Please note the time of arrival as it is relevant to the amount of exhaustion and fatigue after driving roughly 8 hours that day: -Immediately upon arrival into the room, the thermostat was set to 77 degrees and took several hours to cool the room. -My teenage daughter needed to sleep on the sleeper sofa in the room. No comforter or pillows were provided in the room, and when my daughter asked for those items, the front desk attendant stated that she did not have any available. My daughter stated that the desk attendant kept going outside while she was waiting for someone to help her and that it was 'weird.' -The swing bar lock/latch was broken on the room door and there was no secondary way to secure the door. -Knocking by housekeeping to clean our room on 5/31 began at 7:30 am--there was no privacy sign available in the room to hang on the door. -Flooring was broken and coming up in several places in the room. -We attended breakfast on 5/31 morning, only to find that the muffins had mold on them. I've been staying at LaQuinta for over 30 years and have never, ever encountered a stay so horrifically bad in my entire life. The only good thing about the room was that it was cleaned by the cleaning staff."
