“1/5 Stars – Absolute Scam, Do NOT Stay Here Not as advertised in the slightest! I booked this La Quinta Inn thinking it would be a decent, family-friendly option, but it was a complete disaster from the moment we walked in. First of all, the place smells terrible. It’s like a cheap Indian mini-mart that’s been doused in men’s deodorant spray in an attempt to mask the underlying musky, stale odor. The smell hits hard in the hallways and lingers in the room no matter what. Room service was……

“This was my 4th trip to Tinlnley Park this year so I decided to try Even Hotel. Initially, the staff was nice & professional. 1st morning, we realized our double-queen room, booked for four occupants only had 2 sets of bath towels. The room had no info phone #'s, wi-fi password, room service menu, etc., so I Googled the number, called & left 2 voicemail messages w/o response. After 45 min, I called the front desk. Again no answer (I tried through the automated menu a total of 8 times). Next,……

“The staff at this hotel was TOP NOTCH. Each and every staff member we interacted with over the course of our trip was excellent! Breakfast was okay. It rotated hot items each day, so that was a huge plus. The building itself is quite dated, and our room reeked of old pipe tobacco & after-shave. Like it punched you in the face as soon as you opened the door. No matter what I tried, nothing took the smell out. Our bed was very comfy, although I did overhear another guest complaining to the Front……

“Room had an odd smell and the tv stand needed dusted (hair on it). The room was comfortable until 3:00 a.m. when 6 people were screaming and fighting right outside the main entrance for over an hour. Parking was good and the pool was clean.”
