“Reception staff were very welcoming, room was very clean, and breakfast was very nice. I didn't like the attitude of the women in the spa section, felt like they were talking down to me had a lot of ego and arrogance, not sure if it was a colour thing. ”

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”

“ Lovely breakfast freshly cooked, plenty of parking, spotless room very friendly staff. If we have to go to that area again we would definitely go there if available”

“Nice and comfortable excellent decor. However toiletries need improvement, body wash and shampoo combined and no body lotion”

“Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!”
