Enter the 280-seat Irene P. Flinn Theater to see a science-related film on an enormous screen. The adjacent Dorrance Planetarium has mesmerizing laser shows set against popular music.
Step back in time to the birth of the city in the Rosson House Museum, with its extravagant Queen Anne design. It is fully restored to resemble its state just after it was constructed in 1895. Embark on a tour of the house and admire the period décor and furniture.
Head to the redbrick structure of The Bungalow to study its antique tools and handicrafts. Inspect the works on display in the Heritage Gallery and enjoy a meal or drinks in one of the surrounding cafés and restaurants.
Heritage and Science Park is perched on the eastern edge of the city center of Phoenix. Travel by bus to one of the stops adjoining the plaza or drive and leave your car in the Heritage Parking Garage. While you’re in the area, consider visiting some of the nearby sights, such as the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Basilica and the Phoenix Convention Center.
