When I pulled up to this hotel I was surprised to see outside entry rooms on the first floor, and I got a weird vibe in the parking lot as a single female traveling alone. I had a room on the third floor which appeared to be remodeled. The interior hallway leading to the room smelled like half the floor was smoking ( signs posted say non smoking hotel). The room itself was clean, but there was not one towel in the room. The person at the front desk apologized and gave me a stack of clean towels. No bugs or any real problems, but there was not a deadbolt on the door, and I just felt a little unsafe. Bed was comfortable and pillows were great. Free breakfast was ok, a few hot options. Overall, you get what you pay for… I paid 109 in January which is peak season for Scottsdale, but I personally probably wouldn’t go back and would rather pay a little more for something nicer
