Staff were courteous, lovely room, food was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay all the amenities were great. The staff was very accommodating. Hannah was amazing! My kids enjoyed our staycation with friends.

We checked in with a very courteous clerk. Before going out for the evening, she gave us driving directions and explained all of the hotel amenities. The dining clerks were also superb fixing a very tasty dinner and breakfast. This was one of the best hotel experiences that my husband and I have had and we definitely recommend it.

We stayed at the "sister property" (the O'Henry) several times but had not stayed at the Proximity. We tried but COVID or one thing or another led to not making our trip. We had met the original owners and then knew about their transfer to the employees. What a terrific thing for an employer to do and what a great deal for the employees. I use to live in Greensboro for many many years and always thought this looked like a fun place to stay. I have eaten at the green valley grill but had never had the pleasure of staying at the o’Henry. I was in town for a night decided to stay here. The hotel is gorgeous. The room is spacious! It is very elegant and classy..reminiscent of “old money”. I would stay again if ever given the opportunity

We (3 of us/two rooms) chose this hotel based on price & Location since we were only staying one night. Good choice. Hotel was very easy to locate and we were very pleased with everything. Clean with nice breakfast. Fresh coffee All Day. Staff is friendly and the hotel is pet Friendly. They keep the hotel clean! They have filtered water fountain to refill your water bottles.

Didn’t realize when I booked but the location had a complementary wine tasting. Everyone who went to it was sooo personable. Normally not my scene, but everyone was so welcoming. Great breakfast spread too. The area is very walkable. I took a nearby path and ended up at Salem College very close by. It is America’s oldest women’s college dating back to colonial times. Many of the buildings look that old, but are very well kept. Just a beautiful experience all around. Clean rooms too!

Such a nice hotel with a friendly staff! Everything was so clean and we rested so well! We will stay again when we come back to Greensboro!

We weren't sure what to expect but decided to take a chance on this place since it was close to where we were going to a meeting. To our delight this was a pretty new hotel. We were highly impressed with the staff, including the bar staff. The entrance was very pretty, the design of the bar and restaurant was a new and different idea as compared to other hotels in the area. We actually ate dinner in the bar and the food was delicious. Wingate was great and always is. This is my go-to spot for business trips to Greensboro. They have a nice/helpful staff, a great room is always ready when I arrive and the overall hotel is always well cared for. I would recommend this hotel.
