The staff was very courteous and friendly. They were on point with each and every request. The place was both busy and full but they found time to meet me at my need!
It is an older building, so you definitely see the wear and tear of it. That is probably the charm of it, however.
Very nice clean, up to date hotel. Very friendly staff.
Such a beautiful home! Thank you😊 ~Julie Clinger
The property is okay nothing lavish but cute and quaint. I only spent one night and the room was clean and comfortable.
Location was right downtown, a little hard to get into due to one-way streets, rooms clean. Not many places to eat nearby. Pleasant staff, breakfast was a little light with a sausage biscuit but didn't eat there. Would stay again.
There's nothing more satisfying than sightseeing while on vacation, and High Point University is a terrific place to start.
It can be found in Greensboro. If you're visiting the state capital, Raleigh, you'll need to travel 75 miles to arrive there.
If you'd like to stay close to High Point University, you won't be disappointed. You'll be able to find 5 places to rest your head within 2 miles. Only 1 mile away is the Courtyard by Marriott High Point. The J.H. Adams Inn and the Radisson Hotel High Point, 1 mile and 1 mile away, are also popular.
For travelers wanting to save a dollar or two, there are a couple of low-cost hotels in the neighborhood. You can't look past the Hotel NC or the Comfort Inn Archdale for comfortability and a good price.
Wondering where you can treat yourself to a coffee, bite to eat or delectable dessert? Starbucks (833 Montlieu Avenue, High Point) is close to High Point University and a great place to take a breather from sightseeing. When the sun starts setting, think about the day's activities with dinner at Chick-fil-A (833 Montlieu Avenue, High Point).
