Hope Memorial Field Tours

I'm not sure how this hotel has good ratings. It is run down and in disrepair. My door would not even open per the front desk clerk so she walked me to my room where the door was open slightly and said here's your key but you can't really use it because the door is so stiff it won't open from the outside. Luckily I made this situation work. There is dirty caulk and terrible patch and paint work, faucet installed crookedly and the counter had water ring marks from the prior guests items. which tells you how well taken care of a property is. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. Very noisy upstairs could hear every step someone took and the curtains were dirty and let in a lot of light. The one plus is the big long table at the front is great for setting down your luggage. The room does not have a hair dryer I had to ask for one. The sign out front is very nice and classy but does not match what the inside looks like.

The parking situation is very unclear. There is a small sign far from the lot that warns of towing but nothing in the area where you park. No significant warnings in communications with host.
