The Hotel Ceilidh-Donna is a fabulous little gem right near Arthur’s Seat.
The hotel is a well maintained older building which we found to be spotlessly clean.
The breakfasts are brilliant and cater for all dietary requirements. The buffet selection is fresh and varied, whilst the hot options are freshly cooked and delicious.
Kevin was particularly friendly, welcoming and helpful - he was able to book us a taxi for an early morning tour and provided a great packed breakfast.
If you want a spacious room in a lovely, quiet area with great breakfast and a hearty welcome, then this is the place for you.
If, however, you prefer a more impersonal and commercial hotel in the centre of Edinburgh, then this is probably not the place for you.
Would highly recommend and most definitely would stay again when visiting Edinburgh.
