Have to be careful with car getting in and out. If you get room on 7th floor there is no privacy due pool and etc amenities.

I stayed right after the terrible storm in Houston so the hotel was just getting power back when I checked in. They were overworked and a bit overwhelmed with the large influx of patrons checking in. The staff was very patient and tried to accommodate all the requests as best they could though. That being said the breakfast was okay at best nothing to go crazy over, after all it’s free. It was pet-friendly which I wasn’t a fan of as the patrons weren’t following the rules (had dogs in the pool). Overall 3/5

The drinks at the bar are overpriced but tasted good. The Cobb salads we bought from the hotel restaurant wasn’t that great. The chicken in the salad tasted like fake chicken or plant based chicken. The hallway carpets were very dirty, like they haven’t been vacuumed in several days. The elevator floors were dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable, way too soft and not enough support. I felt like I was sinking and then I felt something hard, maybe the box spring. The feathers were coming out of the comforter. The lobby is nice and was clean. The breakfast was good but the coffee was not hot, just lukewarm. The waffles did not taste good. The fire alarm started going off around 8:30, then it stopped. Started back around 10ish pm. We were told to leave our rooms but come to find out, the alarm sensors were faulty, at least that’s what the front desk stated. We figured since there were so many young adults in the hotel that someone had played with the alarm. Next time, we will stay somewhere else.

We left our room and when we returned we couldn't open it, so we went to the reception they gave us new keys but they didn't work either. To make a long story short, after two and a half hours we told them to give us another room and they gave it to us but without our belongings. Truly the reception staff did not help at all! we wanted to speak with the manager but they told us that he was very busy, so we left our information so he could reach to us but never did. VERY BAD SERVICE!

The hotel is very clean and updated. Had a great stay. Breakfast was really good. Lots of MD Anderson patients stay there, it's super close to the hospital.
